Why can't I see any classes?
After you create your parent login, you will need to register each child separately. Only classes available for that child's age group will appear as options for registration. Please make sure you put in your child's accurate birthday including the year.

How do I pay?
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. After the 7th, it is considered late and a $5 late fee will be added to your account. Payments can be made at the studio in the form of cash or check. Please use an envelope provided and put the dancers full name on the envelope. All checks are made out to "Dance Amour". You can pay in person by cash or check or online using your parent login. We offer the option to pay online as a convenience to you. There is a 3% convenience fee added to your payment total.
What should I bring to my first class?
Dancers should bring the appropriate shoes and a water bottle, Soda and gum are not permitted in the studio!
What do I wear to class?
Ballet/Tap/Jazz (aka “Combo” class): Dancers need ballet and tap shoes. Comfortable dance attire. Hair pulled off the face.
Ballet Class: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and hair in a bun. Ballet skirts may be worn but they must be ballet skirts. No fluffy tutus or dressy skirts allowed.
Jazz Class: Comfortable dance attire. NO bare midriffs. Stomach must not show during any movement. Black jazz shoes. Hair pulled back. (example class attire: short sleeve leotard and leggings)
Tap: Boys and girls, comfortable clothes you can move in. Shirts must be long enough that the stomach doesn’t show when you move. Tap shoes are required.
Hip Hop: Boys and girls, comfortable clothes you can move in. Shirts must be long enough that the stomach doesn’t show when you move. Tennis shoes or Jazz shoe must be worn.
Where can I purchase dancewear/shoes?
Dancewear for smaller children can be purchased at Walmart (and ballet shoes). If you wish to purchase them online (usually cheaper!) I like discountdance.com We also hold a two special order days throughout the year for families to purchase items at discounted rates.
Do you offer Pointe classes?
Yes! Dancers will need to be evaluated and then a decision will be made on whether they are ready for pointe classes. See this article for more information about what is needed before going en pointe.

The $15 registration fee goes towards the rental of the auditorium, printing programs and other fees associated with the dance recital. It is non-refundable.
When is the recital?
The recital is May 15th, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Snowflake High School Auditorium with a short dress rehearsal that morning.
